~ A Provençal Journey in the Rose Lineage ~

Come and join me in the beautiful landscape of Provence for five days and nights as we explore the path of the Rose through the wisdom and presence of Mary Magdalene.
Across ancient traditions the planet Venus - the Morning and Evening Star - was understood as a symbol of the feminine journey of descent, transformation and return. From the early stories of Inanna, through the priestess traditions of Isis, this initiatory path has been carried forward through many millenia.
This retreat is for anyone who feels a pull toward the deeper wisdom of the feminine path - whether that connection comes through Mary Magdalene, an interest in the Rose lineage, or simply a longing for time away to reconnect with yourself.
For many, Mary Magdalene holds the essence of this journey - the myrrahphore (myrrh-bearer), the keeper of the sacred heart and a powerful expression of feminine wisdom, devotion and spiritual authority.
Yet, as with the wider story of the Divine Feminine, her voice and legacy have been diminished, distorted and hidden for centuries.
This retreat is an invitation to reconnect with the deeper current she represents and to explore what it means to embody the strength, truth, love and sovereignty of the Rose within ourselves.
~ The Journey ~
Together we’ll explore the stages of the Rose path, a journey of release, reclamation and remembrance.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient feminine initiatory stream, including the descent of Inanna, the sovereignty of Lilith, the restorative wisdom of Isis and the embodied heart of the Magdalene, we’ll work with practices that support us to:

🌹 Cultivate presence, compassion and inner strength
🌹 Open to a deeper sense of wholeness and authenticity
This is a journey not of becoming someone new but of returning to what has always been within you.
~ Provence & Pilgrimage ~
Our time together will be rooted in the sacred landscape of Provence, a region long associated with Mary Magdalene’s life and teachings. During our time together, we’ll have the opportunity to visit a selection of sacred sites and landscapes, some directly connected with the Magdalene’s story. Depending on timing, weather and the flow of the group, these may include:
🌹 The Basilica of Saint-Maximin, where her relics are said to rest
🌹 The cave of Sainte-Baume, where she lived in devotion and retreat
🌹 The sacred feminine Cave of the Eggs
🌹 The Saint Michel du Var Monastery, the site of a crypt said to hold a lock of her hair
🌹 The incredible landscape of the Montagne Sainte Victoire
Walking the land, sitting in these spaces and connecting with their energies adds a powerful dimension to the work, bringing the journey out of theory and into lived experience.
~ What to expect ~
During our five days together we’ll create a supportive and spacious container for exploration, practice and restoration.
Our time will include warming and restorative yoga practices, guided meditation, ritual, storytelling, pilgrimage, nature connection and time for rest and integration.
Joining us will be one of my beloved collaborators, Emma Macrae of Holistic Soul and Wild Roots Therapies. She'll be bringing her incredible sound bath experiences to our time and her deep love for cacao sharing. She'll also be available as our exclusive retreat massage therapist with her exceptional therapuetic touch.
We'll enjoy an incredible plant based menu of nourishing, soul centred food and there'll be plenty of space to slow down, reflect, journal, connect with the land and enjoy the beauty and nourishment of our retreat setting.
~ Where we'll stay ~
Our retreat will be held at a beautifully restored Provençal estate set within more than 400 acres of private land near Aix-en-Provence and the iconic Mont Sainte-Victoire.
Reached via a private three-kilometre driveway lined with oak trees, olive groves and lavender, the property offers complete peace, privacy and a true sense of escape in the heart of the countryside.
Accommodation is arranged across two traditional stone houses, thoughtfully restored to combine authentic character with modern comfort, with a selection of king and superking rooms for single or twin occupancy, all with private bathrooms.
A charming, paved courtyard connects the two houses and provides a beautiful space for our brunches and evening meals. Inside, spacious communal areas include a comfortable sitting room with valley views and a gorgeous dining hall that will become our yoga shala. Meals will also be enjoyed on the south-facing terrace overlooking the landscaped grounds.
Outside, we'll enjoy a sun-drenched swimming pool, beautiful gardens and plenty of quiet spaces to relax and unwind.
The estate is just 30 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, known for its vibrant markets and café culture, and only 5 km from the charming medieval village of Jouques. Marseille & it's airport with innumerable low cost flight options is just 45 minutes away.
I've carefully selected this exceptional setting for both deep retreat and complete restoration.
