Terms and Conditions
Your contract is with Soul Seeker Yoga of 1 Market Close, Church St, Inverness, IV1 1EX, referred to as “Soul Seeker Yoga”, “SSY”, “we”, "our" or “us” in this contract. A binding contract is only entered into when payment for a Discovery Pass, Single Class Purchase or any of our Memberships has been received and confirmed by us.
- Class Purchase
Classes organised by us are structured either as a block of 4, 8 or Unlimited classes per calendar month, purchased via Direct Debit through one of our membership contracts, a block of 3 purchased using the Discovery Pass or as a Single Class Purchase (standard rate). Add-On Class and Guest Passes are also available at a special rate for 6 & 12 month Memberships only. Classes are subject to and bound by the following terms:
2.1 All Classes organised by us must be paid for in full using a Membership Class Credit, Discovery Pass Class Credit or Single Class Credit, Add On Class Credit or Guest Pass Class Credit in advance of the start time. We accept payment for the Discovery Pass, Single Class Purchase, Add On Classes & Guest Passes via the following: credit and debit cards or if agreed prior to payment, cash. Memberships are paid for via Direct Debit – please see your Membership Contract for full details.
2.2 Class Credits for missed sessions are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
2.3 All Class bookings are strictly non-transferable.
2.4 Memberships, Single Class Purchases, the Discovery Pass, Add On Class & Guest Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. For further information on Memberships please see your Membership Contract.
- Class Booking & Cancellation
We understand that it isn't always possible to keep our intentions, but to keep it fair for all students and teachers we have a strict booking and cancellation policy in place. Please note that we do not make any exceptions to this policy.
3.1 Classes may be booked in advance, online, anytime up until the start time of the class.
3.2 Class participants are required to arrive at least 10 mins in advance of class times. To be fair to all Class Participants and to ensure safety and security, there is no late admittance to class. If you are unavoidably delayed for a few minutes you must notify us by text on 07903 584594, by at least 5 mins before the start of class. It is at SSY’s sole discretion to allow late admittance notified in this way.
3.3 If you have added yourself to the class waitlist when booking and a space opens up, you will automatically be added from the waitlist into that class. If you have email notifications enabled in your account you will receive an 'added from the waitlist' automatic email notification. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your emails safe senders list to stop automatic emails going into spam. You can view which classes you are registered for by logging into your account, via the Book Now page on the SSY website. If you are added from the waitlist and can no longer attend, you must cancel your booking. Cancellations are subject to the usual Ts and Cs.
3.4 Clients may cancel classes up to 12 hours prior to the start of the class with full refund of their Class Credit. Classes cancelled within 12 hours of the start of class are non-refundable.
3.5 Although we make every effort to promote and fill our Classes and ensure adequate teacher coverage, we reserve the right to cancel any Class at any time. If you book on to a Class that is subsequently cancelled by us, we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative, or you will be refunded via the means you booked the class (refund to card for Single Class Purchase or refund of credit if booked any other way).
- Event payment
Events organised by us are purchased on an individual basis. Events are subject to and bound by the following terms:
4.1 All Events organised by us must be paid for in full in advance of the start time. We accept payment for Events via the following: credit and debit cards or if agreed prior to payment, cash.
4.2 Event bookings are non transferable and non-refundable.
4.3 Although we make every effort to promote and fill our Events, we reserve the right to cancel any Event at any time. If you book on to an Event that is subsequently cancelled by us, we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative (subject to client’s approval) or a refund will be provided.
- Information regarding our Classes and Events
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information in our website and elsewhere is as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to make changes to the website and elsewhere and any information they contain. You will be informed of any material changes before booking. We are only responsible for information contained within our own publications and websites. We are specifically not responsible for third party information contained in any other website.
- Payments and refunds
Online and Direct Debit payments are provided by Paysafe via MindBody Online, our online booking service provider. By using this service you agree that SSY is not responsible for the process of capturing your financial data. All sales are final and strictly no refunds are given, except as laid out in the Terms and Conditions, Membership Contracts and in exceptional circumstances at SSY’s sole discretion.
All prices advertised or quoted are per person in pounds sterling or 1 Class Pass Credit unless otherwise shown and are subject to change, up or down, until the booking is concluded.
- Exclusion of liabilities
We take care to provide you quality yoga & meditation classes and events, by suitably qualified teachers. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health before commencing a yoga class and seek medical advice if you are concerned. You understand that our teachers are not medically trained and so not qualified to give medical advice. Therefore, any advice given should be qualified by a medical practitioner.
- Physical adjustments
Teachers at SSY provide physical hands on adjustments during all sessions. You must inform the teacher immediately should you not want to be physically adjusted during the session.
- Right to refuse
We reserve the right to refuse you access to our Classes or Events at any time. It is your responsibility to inform us of any injury, pregnancy, or medical conditions before the start of every session, and we reserve the right to refuse entry on this basis. You should not attend our Classes or Events under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Waiver of liability
Upon registering with us you will be required to accept our waiver of liability. This is mandatory, along with disclosing your injuries or medical conditions. This waiver of liability statement applies to all services taken with us.
If you have any complaints about your class or our services, please contact us as soon as possible.
This contract is governed by Scottish Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
